Organic cotton is produced under ecologically and ethically correct conditions. The GOTS certification (Global Organic Textile Standard) ensures that cotton farmers, dyers and seamstresses receive good wages. Moreover, pesticides, neurotoxins or artificial fertilizers are not used in organic cotton cultivation, which is a source of energy savings. And the seed is naturally free from genetic engineering.
