Cleaning and maintenance

It is best to clean a copper bottle with lemon juice. Squeeze half a lemon into a bottle and mix it with a tablespoon of salt and 1 to 2 cups of warm water. Shake the bottle well, pour out the liquid and rinse with water.

Real copper can develop a natural tarnish, especially when exposed to moisture. This deposit is not rust and it is completely removable. To remove this you can use copper polish or a natural cleaning agent and a soft cloth. Wash the bottle with soap and water before using it again. Lemon juice also works well, and is completely natural!
