    The pure sound of a pair of tingshas has a centering and clarifying effect on the mind.

    Tingshas are used in Tibetan Buddhist and modern meditation rituals, for example to bring wandering meditation students back to meditation. The effect of the sound is felt immediately and it continues long after the sound has ceased in the physical ears.
