Product description
Liforme produces innovative and unique yoga mats, designed to enhance your practice. Whether you practice Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa flow, or Iyengar (or any other form of yoga), Liforme mats give you that extra touch with every breath and pose. Years of research, design, and redesign have led to the creation of the Liforme mat with unparalleled grip and the unique AlignForMe yoga asana alignment system.
7 reasons why yogis love the Liforme yoga mat:
1. Made by Yogis – for Yogis
Throughout the design process, Liforme sought advice and inspiration from some of the best yogis in the yoga world. This insider perspective ensures that the design seamlessly aligns with your needs on the mat.
2. Perfectionist quality
Perfectionism is a conservative term at Liforme. Every detail is meticulously crafted to ensure optimal quality.
3. Unique AlignForMe system
The unique and revolutionary AlignForMe system works like a navigation system for your yoga practice. You no longer have to search or guess for the correct alignment; the markings and lines on the mat give you as much or as little guidance as you need. The print is discreet so it won't distract you when you're fully immersed in your flow.
4. Super firm grip
Patanjali was right when he said, "Sthira Sukham Asanam" (Asana is a stable, comfortable posture). One of the most important functions of a yoga mat is to provide grip. Slipping on the mat can make your practice very ineffective and disruptive, or even dangerous. To solve this annoying problem, Liforme has developed a new natural rubber treatment that maintains good grip even when wet! Feeling is believing.
5. Extra support, stability, and padding
Everyone knows the feeling: in some poses, protruding bones touch the floor, and that feels uncomfortable. These parts of the body (hips and knees, for example) need proper protection, according to Liforme. That's why they've used a strong natural rubber and added a layer of felt between the top and bottom layers of the mat. This provides extra padding while still maintaining a firm and solid surface for your practice.
6. Wider and longer
A little goes a long way! This mat is 8 centimeters wider and 5 centimeters longer than most standard mats. This makes it perfect for those who are a bit wider or taller, or for yogis who simply prefer a little more space.
7. Good for the planet, good for your body
Liforme strives to be as environmentally friendly as possible while also considering which materials are comfortable for your body. Therefore, natural rubber is used in the production of the mats, and the AlignForMe pattern is etched into the mat instead of printed with potentially harmful ink. Furthermore, the different layers of the Liforme mat are fused together using heat, so no glue is used in its production. The mat is also PVC-free, meaning it's completely free of unnatural or harmful materials.

Material
Natural rubber, free from PVC or other harmful substances
Rubber yoga mats are 99% latex-free and safe for most people with latex allergies. However, contact with the mat is not recommended for people with severe allergies.
Maintenance
It's important to keep the Liforme yoga mat free of oil. Therefore, we recommend cleaning the mat with a mild soap instead of mat wash. After every 5 to 7 uses, clean the mat as follows:
- Clean the mat with a small amount of mild dish soap and water. Use a damp, soft sponge and a gentle rinse.
- Let the mat dry flat in the shade.
- Roll up the Liforme mat with the colored side facing out and store it at room temperature.
It's very important to keep rubber mats out of direct and indirect sunlight. UV radiation in sunlight damages the rubber, causing it to discolor and dry out. It's also wise to avoid exposing your mat to extremely high temperatures.
