Yogisha Yogisha Yoga Bolster Merino Wool

Bolsters are sturdy, larger pillows that you can use as support for your meditation posture and also for yoga postures. It offers just a bit more firmness and height than a meditation cushion, and more softness and surface than a block. These props are mainly used in Yin and Restorative yoga classes, but you can also use a bolster in your sitting and lying postures and in your relaxation.

Yogisha's own brand yoga bolsters are made of an outer lining of natural merino wool. They are filled with buckwheat chaff and offer firm support. The outer cover contains an inner cover made of a fine cotton, so that the bolster does not dust. Both covers are equipped with a zipper, which makes refilling or washing the cover a matter of a penny. There are also separate refill bags with buckwheat chaff for sale at Yogisha. The outer cover is only hand washable or intended to be taken to a professional cleaner. The bolsters have a carrying strap on one side.

Our bolsters are handmade in a fair and sustainable way in a Dutch workshop. They are of excellent quality, carefully finished, and produced with locally sourced raw materials. This makes our bolsters a bit more expensive than most bolsters you find online, which are usually imported from India. At Yogisha we try to have as many products made close to home as possible. This allows us to guarantee quality and minimize the impact on the environment.
