Yogisha Yogisha Meditation Cushion Merino Wool

This meditation cushion is 13 cm high, the standard size, and therefore the most common meditation cushion. It is the ideal height for many people and also a recommended height for beginners.

This Yogisha meditation cushion is made of a beautiful, fairly sourced merino virgin wool. The cushions are filled with buckwheat chaff, a relatively light but firm natural material. The outer cover contains an inner cover made of fine cotton, so that the cushion does not pollute.

Both covers have a zipper. Refilling is therefore a matter of opening two zippers: a piece of cake. There are also separate refill bags with buckwheat chaff for sale at Yogisha. The outer cover is hand washable, or you can of course take it to a professional cleaner who knows how to handle merino wool just to be sure.

Our meditation cushions are handmade in a fair and sustainable way in a Dutch workshop. They are of excellent quality, carefully finished, and produced with locally sourced raw materials. This makes our meditation cushions a bit more expensive than most meditation cushions you find online, which are usually imported from India. At Yogisha we try to have as many products made close to home as possible. This allows us to guarantee quality and minimize the impact on the environment.
