Which yoga block is right for me?
Yogisha's range includes yoga blocks made of different materials.
Yoga block cork
A cork yoga block is soft and sturdy. The natural material provides ample grip, even when you sweat while performing the various exercises. The blocks are less expensive than bamboo and natural foam yoga blocks, but they wear out a little faster.

Yoga block recycled foam
The recycled foam yoga blocks feel just as soft as the cork blocks. This material is also lightweight, making it easy to carry in your bag to yoga class. The material is extremely durable and will easily last for many years.

Bamboo yoga block
Unlike cork and foam yoga blocks, a bamboo yoga block is hard and heavy. However, because the inside of the yoga block is hollow, it doesn't become too heavy. Bamboo is very strong, meaning yoga blocks made of this material will easily last for many years.

Yoga wedge
Less well-known than the yoga block is the yoga wedge. This long strip is suitable for many exercises, but is traditionally used primarily by Iyengar yogis for extra support during exercises like downward dog and backbends.

Why use a yoga block?
You can think of the yoga block as a support. When an exercise is too difficult, for example, because you're not flexible enough yet, use the yoga block to lengthen your body. Support your feet in plow pose (Halasana) or your hands in forward bend pose (Prasarita Padottanasana). You can also use a yoga block to intensify a pose. By placing your hands on two blocks during cobra pose, you'll find an even deeper stretch.
Sustainable yoga blocks
At Yogisha, we believe it's important to minimize the impact on people and the environment during the production of our products. That's why our foam yoga blocks are made from 50% to 75% recycled foam. Our cork and bamboo yoga blocks are also a sustainable choice. Both the cork tree and bamboo plants regrow quickly after harvesting.
Meditation cushions, yoga mats and other accessories
In addition to yoga blocks, Yogisha's extensive range also includes:
