The yoga leggings from Yoga Democracy are quirky, original and fair. These thin and super elastic leggings move flawlessly with you in all yoga postures. The super absorbent fabric keeps you cool and dry, even during the most intense practice. The leggings have an extra wide waistband. This not only provides a nice flattering fit, but also ensures that the leggings will not fall off.

Yoga Democracy uses a heated process to allow the colors to penetrate extra deeply into the fabric. This prevents the leggings from turning white when they stretch and creates those beautiful, bright colors that Yoga Democracy is known for.
These leggings provide excellent protection against the sun with UVB/UVA 40-50+, and are therefore perfect to wear outside, or even while surfing!

78% recycled PET, 22% LYCRA® XTRALIFE.

This material is very durable and always retains its shape due to its high elasticity, even after long wear and multiple washes. In addition, it is very absorbent and keeps you cool and dry, even during a tough yoga class.
The use of recycled PET bottles ensures a greatly reduced CO2 footprint and a reduction in waste that ends up in the landfill.

Because Yoga Democracy uses a heated process to allow the colors to penetrate deep into the fabric, these leggings are sometimes tight at first. This dyeing process causes the leggings to temporarily shrink slightly, but this effect disappears after they have been worn once.

Sustainability

Yoga Democracy was founded in 2015 from the desire to create a sustainable alternative to active wear for yogis. Virtually all Yoga Democracy products are produced in Cave Creek, Arizona. Here we work under good working conditions, and employees are rewarded and treated fairly. The entire production process of Yoga Democracy takes place under one roof: from design, to dyeing, to sewing of the clothing. This allows the carbon footprint to be kept small and the makers of the products feel connected to the consumer and the company as a whole. Yoga Democracy aims to produce 95% of their products using recycled fibers, and to reduce water use in production.
