Bolsters are sturdy larger cushions that you can use to support your meditation posture and also in yoga postures. It offers just a bit more firmness and height than a meditation cushion, and more softness and support than a block. These props are mainly used in Yin and Restorative yoga classes, but you can also use a bolster in your sitting and lying postures and in your relaxation.

Yogisha's own brand yoga bolsters are made from a super strong, indestructible natural cotton. They are filled with buckwheat chaff and are therefore very sturdy and stable. Within the outer cover there is an inner cover of a finer cotton, so the bolster does not spread any dust. Both covers are provided with a zipper, which makes refilling or washing the bolster a piece of cake. There are separate refill bags with buckwheat chaff for sale at Yogisha. The outer cover is (hand) washable. The bolsters have a strap on one side.

Our bolsters are handmade in an honest and sustainable way in a Dutch workshop. They are of excellent quality, carefully finished, and produced with locally sourced raw materials. As a result, our bolsters are more expensive than most bolsters that you find online, which are mostly imported from India. At Yogisha we try to source as many products as possible close to home. This way, we can guarantee the quality and we burden the environment as little as possible.
