Maintenance

For cleaning a rubber mat, we recommend the special Manduka Natural Rubber Mat Wash . These sprays are gentle on your yoga mat and are free of phosphates, alcohol, and bleach. They contain vinegar for disinfection and to preserve the color of your yoga mat, and essential oils with antibacterial and therapeutic properties.
It's very important to keep rubber mats out of direct and indirect sunlight. UV radiation in sunlight damages the rubber, causing it to discolor and dry out. It's also wise to avoid exposing your mat to extremely high temperatures.
