This meditation bench has a a straight seat and indented legs that are slightly rounded at the front. This allows the bench to be used in different angles. By shifting forward and tilting the seat forward it becomes easier to sit upright and keep the spine straight. The legs on this bench are fixed.

Mediation benches are specifically designed for kneeled meditation postures. The bench supports the weight of your upper body and relieves weight from your knees and shins, keeping you comfortable in your posture for longer. Because the seat is slightly tilted forward your posture remains active and its easier to keep a straight back.

Always use a meditation bench on a soft surface, such as a zabuton.
