Product description
These copper water bottles are not only very stylish and more environmentally friendly than plastic, but are also an important part of an Ayurvedic health routine. Ayurveda recommends drinking from a copper bottle, and modern science supports many of the health benefits.
Copper is an essential mineral for the body and is difficult to supplement through the diet because foods containing copper contain only small amounts. When drinking water from a copper water bottle, the water absorbs the copper and nutrients. Benefits that have been studied include improved immunity and digestion, increased metabolism, and balanced pH levels. Furthermore, scientific studies have shown that copper removes bacteria and impurities from water due to its antimicrobial properties.
The copper bottles from Forrest & Love are made of 99.7% pure copper and are produced on a small scale in a workshop in India.

Cleaning and maintenance
A copper bottle is best cleaned with lemon juice. Squeeze half a lemon into the bottle and mix this with a tablespoon of salt and 1 to 2 cups of warm water. Shake the bottle well, pour out the liquid, and rinse with water.
Real copper can develop a natural tarnish, especially when exposed to moisture. This tarnish is not rust and is completely removable. To remove it, you can use copper polish or a natural cleaning agent and a soft cloth. Wash the bottle with soap and water before using it again. Lemon juice also works well and is completely natural!
