Yogisha Meditation Bench Foldable Birch Wood

Meditation benches allow you to sit relaxed with your back straight in the heel seat. The legs of this bench are slanted (but not rounded) so that you lean forward slightly, which tilts your pelvis slightly forward, making it easier to sit upright. This folding bench is made of stable glued birch wood with a natural oiled surface.

  I am quite short (1.55 metres) which makes it hard to find a suitable meditation bench for me for longer meditations, 20+ minutes. I tried this bench in store. on a yogamat. It would get too high combined with a pillow on top though. However, to my surprise, the bench comes with a woollen seat, with an antislip side and it is PERFECT. (and washablr) The legs fold out and stay stable because of a system with knobs that fit into holes. So easy to get in position, and foldable for when taking it on trips. The angle of the slanting legs is also perfect. Compared with the benches with the rounded corners, it’s easier as I don’t have to find the right angle when starting my meditation. And, as I was hoping for: no pain or strain in my legs when meditating 20+ minutes.
