This hand-woven yoga mat is made of 100% cotton. These types of yoga mats are also called 'Mysore Rugs' because they are traditionally used a lot in Ashtanga yoga. This cotton yoga mat is therefore ideal for more intensive yoga styles such as Bikram, Ashtanga and Vinyasa. Because the mat is very absorbent and becomes grippier as it becomes damp, you are always assured of good grip.

The cotton yoga mat is best used in combination with a normal or travel yoga mat. In this way the cotton mat stays well in place and you will have sufficient cushioning.
