Bamboo is one of the most economical and ecological products in the world. The natural growth process of bamboo uses a fraction of the time and resources that cotton uses for the same amount of clothing. Bamboo needs smaller amounts of land and water, and no artificial fertilizer or pesticides that cotton does need. Large plantations and constant watering are also indispensable when growing organic cotton. Bamboo, on the other hand, suffers from natural rainfall, needs less space because it grows in height, can be harvested several times and does not need to be treated with pesticides because of its natural antibacterial properties.
