Liforme tries to be as environmentally friendly as possible, and at the same time to think about which materials are nice for your body. That is why natural rubber was used to produce mats, and the AlignForMe pattern was etched into the mat rather than printed with potentially harmful ink. Furthermore, the different layers of the Liforme mat are fused together using heat, so no glue is used in the production. The mat is also PVC-free, and therefore completely free of unnatural or harmful materials.

Rubber yoga mats are 99% latex free, and safe for most people with a latex hypersensitivity. In case of a very severe allergy, contact with the mat is not recommended.
It is important to keep your Liforme yogamat free from oil. Therefore, we advice you not to use mat wash and use a mild soap instead. Please follow the following steps to care for your mat:
- After every 5 to 7 uses, clean with just a tiny drop of dish soap liquid in water, using a soft non-abrasive sponge which is dampened and not soaking wet.
- Leave to dry flat. Please try to avoid drying the mat in direct sunlight as the mat is biodegradable and therefore photo-sensitive.
- Roll up your Liforme Mat with the colour side facing outwards, and store it in at room temperature
With rubber mats it is very important to keep them away from sunlight, both directly and indirectly. The UV radiation in sunlight affects the rubber and causes it to discolour and dry out. In addition, it is also wise not to expose your mat to extremely high temperatures.
