Ayur Copper Water Bottle 900ml - Hammered
These copper water bottles are not only very stylish, but are also a key part of an Ayurvedic health routine. Ayurveda recommends drinking from a copper bottle, and modern science supports many of the health benefits.
Copper is an essential trace mineral of the body and is difficult to supplement in the diet as foods that contain copper only provide a small amount. When drinking water from a copper water bottle, the water absorbs the copper and it's nutrients. Benefits that have been studied include: improved immunity and digestion, increased metabolism, and balance pH levels. In addition, scientific studies have shown that copper removes bacteria and impurities from water through it's antimicrobial properties.
The Ayur bottles have a leak-free screw on cap with a convenient carrying handle and are made from 100% copper.
Real copper naturally patinas, especially with exposure to moisture. Tarnish is not rust, and it is completely removable. We recommend using a copper polish or natural cleaning solution intended for copper and a soft cloth to safely remove the tarnish followed by a hand wash with soap and water. Lemon juice is all natural and works great!
Ayur translates to "life", and Ayur is committed to fair and sustainable production. Each copper bottle is designed out of Ventura, California and then handcrafted by a small team of skilled artisans in India and Mexico. Through functional design and exceptional craftsmanship, each Ayur bottle is made for drinking your way to a balanced body while reducing the negative impact of disposable plastic bottles on our planet.
